Silverstein releases new music video for ‘Die Alone’

SILVERSTEIN have released a new music video!

The new music video, for the track die aloneis taken from the new album by Canadian post-hardcore band, Misery made me, slated for release in May this year. The new song features a guest appearance from Andre Neufeld of RETURNING CHILD and the accompanying music video was directed by Wyatt Clough.

“Our roots are in fast hardcore and punk, it’s a style we’ve dabbled in over the years, but with the frustration and anger I felt at the time, I wanted to go all the way.” singer Shane Said reveals. “I knew the song could benefit from a second voice, and I thought of Andrew immediately. His growl and signature delivery put this thing over the top. Lyrically, die alone discusses the power imbalance that often occurs in one-sided friendships – where one toxic person controls another. It’s a classic theme, but one that we’ve seen a lot more over the last few years with misinformation leading to enormous pressure from people to act a certain way, or vote a certain way, or become a puppet for a negative cause.
