In today’s world, almost no one prefers to buy a wired earphone, the reason being tangled wire and complications with cord and plug. The brands have taken this concern seriously and brought a number of TWS headphones for the common man to enjoy a hands-free experience. These headphones are available in the market from the starting range of Rs. 1,000 and will go up to Rs. 20,000.
India TV has reviewed a number of headphones to let you know which one is best for you in different budgets and why you should or shouldn’t buy the same one.
Recently, I got my hands on the Oppo Enco X2 headphones which were recently launched and are available in the market at the price of Rs 10,999. We used the device for a month to know how it performed and here is our review in 10 points to give you an overview of the product and performance, which could help you make a decision to choose the headphones you want.
Priced at Rs. 10,999 in India, the Oppo Enco X2 comes with a dual-driver setup and both dynamic and planar magnetic drivers. It also supports advanced Bluetooth codec support as well as tuning in collaboration with a Danish speaker manufacturer named Dynaudio, which has been branded on the case of the headphones.
The new Enco X2 comes with a sturdier build – the X2’s casing looks premium with the glossy finish and it certainly resembles the Apple AirPods Pro to some degree (speaking of the headphones).
In addition to the case, the earbuds have a shiny appearance, and the two earbuds have a black texture to specify the left and right earbuds.
This earphone is not just a common earphone, as it has different features compared to other TWS earphones available in the market.
First, the headphones do not work with the tapping process. You’ll need to hold the bud stem so it responds to actions you’d like your buds to respond to, such as pinching and moving your fingers up in order to increase the volume of the headphones, rather than tapping or touching the head of the bud. bud.
Something very simple and easy is how to pair the device to any new smart device (Android or iOS both). There is an almost invisible button on the right side panel of the X2 case and when you want to pair it with a new device, all you have to do is hold down the button and open the case head. Once the head is open you will see a slow flashing white light which means the device is now discoverable – now pay for the Enco X2 with the desired device and you are done. Yes! It’s also simple and easy, and being premium headphones, they’re super smooth and don’t come with any pairing apps – unlike a few other headphones from brands like Nothing, LG, Jabra and more that require you to download the specific app to pair the bud.
The headphones support Android and iOS devices and can be easily paired.
5. Sound quality during music playback and streaming
Personally, I’ve used it precisely for everything – calls, music, Netflix, Prime Videos, games with sound – and it hasn’t turned me down. Enco X2 was good when it came to delivering audio quality. Also, it comes with features like noise cancellation which can be activated when you can pinch and hold the bud. You will feel the difference.
Music playback is good, the quality is soothing with around 70 per cent sound from your handset. Moreover, the video watching experience with headphones is just perfect. You can use it for a long time without any problems or pain – it’s also comfortable.
6. Call Delivery
This is something where I have to mention that few disturbances were seen at times when we used to take calls. This means that the wearer of the earphone will hear the call accurately, but the caller may be disturbed if you are in a place with loud noise or music.
Therefore, the noise cancellation is for the Enco X2 wearer, not the other side of the receiver. I rarely use to disconnect my headphones during calls because the person on the other side keeps saying over and over that they can’t hear you and there’s a lot of disturbance.
The battery delivery of Enco X2 is quite good. If you are someone who is always connected with headphones, you will definitely be impressed with them. Admittedly, I am impressed, because when I work, I prefer to have my earpieces on, in order to help me write with more concentration and to cut me off from ambient voices during work. My use of headphones is therefore quite intense. The earbuds can deliver approximately over 4 hours of playtime at a time. Moreover, when the battery is draining, the case will be a savior to recharge the buds.
OPPO Enco X2 Earbuds are priced at Rs 10,999 and are available to buy on Flipkart and official website
The OPPO Enco X2 is part of the premium line of headphones and is definitely at a higher price. I checked with about 5-8 people in the office to see if they would be interested in purchasing the earphones of such high value and they were certainly hesitant. According to them, they would buy the headphones which would stand under the price of something between Rs 5,000 and Rs 8,000.
I think the price is definitely higher and it’s going to face stiff competition with brands like Nothing and Sennheiser. Jabra and more, with similar specs and prices.
