May 4: Apple teases ‘Behind the Mac: Skywalker Sound’ special video

May 4th is approaching, and as you may know, it’s an important date for Star Wars fans. That’s why Apple is teasing a new Behind the Mac video with artists from the Skywalker Sound company, which should be released in a few days.

On May 4, head behind the Mac at Skywalker Sound to meet the artists making sounds from a galaxy far, far away.

In those 68 seconds teasingApple shows the process of creating the iconic sounds of the Star Wars franchise.

“If you were to close your eyes and just listen to the sounds, could you just identify the film and where we are in the film? It’s all so…iconic,” someone says as we listen to the sounds of R2-D2, Chewbacca, and a lightsaber.

This special episode Behind the Mac will be released next week, May 4th. This date has become so important to Star Wars fans because of the similarity of a key franchise phrase: “May the Force be with you.”

In this series, Apple tries to promote creators and other professionals who use the Mac to edit movies, create music and 3D objects, and much more.

That said, the end of the transition from Intel Macs to the company’s silicon is another important moment to highlight just how great a Mac could be for business users.

With the M1 Pro, M1 Max and M1 Ultra available on the new macbook pro and Mac Studio, the company also recently released its Studio Display, a more affordable option over the 2019 Pro Display XDR.
