Emma Ruth Rundle Announces New EP “Orpheus Looking Back”

EMMA RUTH RUNDLE announced a new EP!

Title Orpheus looking backthe American singer-songwriter’s forthcoming EP is a small collection of unreleased songs from the engine from hell sessions and is expected to be released later this month, via Sargent House.

The next EP opens with Golden cage a song rundle wrote in Berlin a few years ago and loves playing live because of his energy, “it was also an outlier and couldn’t make the cut but deserved to live beyond the live show somehow.”

Pump organ song was written spontaneously in the studio in response to rundlethe breakdown of the marriage and the availability of an old pump organ in the listening room. rundle said, “In the year since the song was recorded, I feel more and more connected to this love song. It still speaks to me about the separation process and how romantic arrangements change. and relationships close. Ultimately, Holy No was written in Wales after visiting the eponymous well, chapel and spring of Saint David in Pembrokeshire.

Along with the announcement of the new EP, rundle released a new song from the upcoming EP; Pump organ song.
