Award-winning audio publishing installation 3H Sound Studio installs several Fairlight advanced consoles

Fremont, California – February 10, 2022 – Blackmagic Design today announced that prestigious film post-production house 3H Sound Studio Ltd. based in Taipei has installed several digital audio workstations (DAWs) built around its DaVinci Resolve Studio post-production software and Fairlight Advanced Console audio control surfaces.

Founded by legendary sound designer Tu Duu-Chih in 2004, 3H Sound Studio Ltd. offers services ranging from on-site sound recording to ADR and Dolby Atmos post-production. Today, 3H Sound Studio Ltd. has ten mixing rooms equipped with numerous Fairlight DAWs, including two racks and five racks Fairlight Advanced Consoles, each with DaVinci Resolve Studio software, as well as seven legacy Fairlight systems.

The advanced five-bay Fairlight console with DaVinci Resolve Studio was installed in the mixing room for Dolby Atmos mixing and mastering and has since been used on dozens of films, including director Chung Mong-Hong’s “A Sun”, “Love After Love” by director Ann Hui, “Ripples of Life” by Wei Shujun and “Anita” by Longman Leung.
