I have just spent several weeks testing AUKEY’s latest gaming headphones, the GH-S6 and for a cheap headset (less than 26 €), I must admit I’m impressed!
- Weight of 415 grams
- Two 3.5 mm connectors
- 2.2 meter cable
- Diameter of 50 mm
- Sensitivity of 120 dB to ± 3 dB
- Frequency range from 20 Hz to 20 kHz
- Impedance of 16 ohms ± 15%
- Microphone sensitivity from -42 dB to ± 3 dB
- Harmonic range of the microphone from 20 Hz to 16 kHz
- Microphone impedance of ≤ 2.2k ohms
As you can imagine with a good budget product, AUKEY does not spend a lot of money on packaging however as usual, AUKEY opted for an ecological approach using recycled cardboard for the outer box and I love !
Once inside, the recycled cardboard continues with the AUKEY GH-S6 firmly held in place with also plastic to protect against a possible blow during transport
Once you have finally released the headset, you will notice the 2.2m USB cable, user documentation and a standard 24 month warranty flyer.
The AUKEY GH-S6 headphones weigh a little over 400 grams which is quite light in terms of headphones.
This is due in part to the design of the helmet, opting for a reinforced rubber harness (with shiny effect) for the support and a cushioned headband.
It is adjustable, but not much, and not permanently. It worked like a spring, extending when you pull the goblets over your ears.
The earpieces themselves have big, feather-covered, circular cushions and a thin layer of foam on the speakers themselves. They are nice to wear but do not block a lot of sounds unless the volume comes out of the headphones.
The sound quality provided by the GH-S6 kid’s helmet is anything but economical, I can guarantee it firmly!
The 50mm oversized speakers provide a serious punch, delivering rumbling bass and bright midrange. High bass levels are exactly what you want when you sit down for a game session, giving off an immersive feel and maximum gaming pleasure!
In addition to great audio in play, I was also impressed when I tested some of my favorite music.
The omnidirectional microphone is used to help you communicate clearly. However, as is the case with omnidirectional microphones, you also get some background noise.
The most common reaction I received was the noise when typing. The microphone is also attached, which means it can not be removed or removed when you are not using it.
The AUKEY GH-S6 gaming headset is an unrivaled headphone on the low-budget market. If you are looking for a first time purchase or something new and do not want to spend a lot of money, it will certainly meet all the requirements in terms of sound quality and modern features. If you are a serious player and you integrate the audio, it can be useful to earn a few cents and move to the next slice of game heads. All in all, you get everything you need to answer the questions. basic needs of a game headset. Clear voices from the microphone, high bass levels, a microphone to communicate and a plug and play function, all for less than 26 €!
